Night Lords Land Raider Commission - WIP

Hey all,

Another quick update today on the Night Lords. Pictures are a little squiffy as I took them very early and in a rush for work! Little bits of tidying up to do as well as the lights on this bugger but nearly done! Just got some wrecked imperial knight terrain to work on (and some lightning on the other Night Lords) then I can send all this stuff back to its owner!

This tank has re-affirmed my hatred of painting flat open spaces. I'm just not all that good at it!

Night Lords Helbrute Commission - WIP

Hey fellow hobbyists (a fellowship perhaps),

Been pursuing the end of this commission this weekend and I am getting close! The land raider already has its lightning lines on and just needs its lights doing to be completed. The helbrute still needs all the metal highlighting and lightning lines adding, but has also come along a lot this weekend. So here are some snazzy snaps! The front of the torso is none standard as that bit went missing and so I added some bits to make up for it, its not complete though as yet, just a couple of bits to add to cover the join of the horns piece.

Night Lords Forgefiend and Raptor Lord!

Hey all,

As promised on Monday, here is a good showing of the work I got up to at the weekend. Still some bits and bobs to do, mostly add lightning to armour panels, but not far off on these guys! And the Land raider and Helbrute all got different degrees of base coat applied yesterday evening so they are coming along as well. Saturday will be a long day of painting!

Nights Lords Daemon Prince Commission - WIP

Good Monday everyone! ( I lie, no Monday was ever good),

Over the weekend I doubled down on my Night Lords commission as its already a little overdue! So expect lots of updates this week on how these guys are coming along. First up is the Daemon Prince! This was one of those models which I think I probably pick up, look at, and then put down around 20-30 times before I feel confident enough to lay brush to it. It just has that much detail and interesting organic shapes coupled with armour plates. A bit of brain teaser for me personally!

The incorporeal style of the green flesh was as requested by the client, though I may have gone a little too green with it! The armour still needs lightning added to it and there are plenty of little details like the sword and eyes that are not 100% complete yet. But I'm happy with the progress :)

In other news I also had time to start a proof of concept scheme for my Eldar army that is going along with my Yncarne, so that should pop up soon too :)

Night Lords Champion - WIP

Hey everyone,

So as well as painting the Yncarne, I've been beavering away at various different parts of the Night Lords that I have to get done. I have been somewhat limited by running out of leadbelcher undercoat and also terrible windy wet weather which limits my ability to spray (I am very much banned from spraying inside the house!).

But in amongst all those problems I have been working on this chap. The client is happy with how he is coming along, and I'm following his directions for certain style aspects a best I can. The head wings need finishing and the power pack is coming along as well.

I'm particularly pleased with the metal of the power fist fingers. I think its ended up with nice depth to it that I sometimes struggle to develop on metal. 

The Forgefiend is nearly complete and the Daemon Prince will pop up soon as the base layers are pretty much done on most of it. Then once my new leadbelcher spray arrives I will be cracking on with the Land Raider and Helbrute that make up the rest of this commission :)

Working on the Night Lords

Hey gang,

Been doing more work on the Night Lords in my possession that are part of the same job as the old school Vindicare I posted up a few days ago. I've got a Land Raider, Forgefiend, Jump pack Lord, Daemon Prince, Night Lords specific HQ and a Helbrute to do, along with a Culexus assassin.

Some good progress on the Forgefiend and jump pack Lord in todays post. Though the Culexus is nearly done as well. The basing for these guys will have some dismembered imperial knight parts strewn around, so they will be painted up completely separately as and when I finish the rest of the commission.

Pleased with how they are coming along, hopefully the client is as well!
