Calling the Culexus - Complete!

Hey all,

More commission work today! The Culexus assassin and the third of the Officio Assassinorum characters. Just the callidus left to do. My brief with all these assassins was to produce something close to the original paint jobs as shown in official publication. I think I have come closest to that with the Culexus so far. Albeit obviously not as good! But still happy with the output :)

Expect the Callidus to appear some point soon; she is built and awaiting undercoat and then we can call this job done :)

Peace out,

Rob

  1. Looking great as always Rob, I've always found some elements of the 'original' paint jobs for the assassins unusual, like the bright white spy mask on the Vindicare etc.

Some lovely work in there though, particularly the rusty parts on the bases.

    1. I've got some good practise for rust in on these guys, going to help with the Deathguard!

My own Vindicare will be painted rather more esoterically I think...

  5. Lovely, you've captured the high gloss look from the artwork, not sure how practical a catsuit is for an Assassin, but hey, he kills with his mind, Open your mind.... open your mind....

    1. I am slightly worried that when I come to paint some more of my assassins they just won't look as good! Certainly I've done this culexus better than my own :/

  6. Great work Rob, he's a beauty - in a creapy void-space kind of way.
