Finally! Some more heresy stuff for you people :) here we have the nearly complete main chassis of my second malcador infernus for my solar auxilia. I just need to do the green lights on this and then its done! The little tanker on the back still has a tonne of work to do on it but its making progress. My Stormblade tank as my Lord of War is also getting basecoats in between working on commission work, so the auxilia are slowly edging to completion :)
Peace out,
Rob
You are a very nasty man taking two of those!
ReplyDeleteAs ever the paint job looks great, is it just a drybrush you do for the main colour on the panels?
I never claimed to be a nice one ;)
DeleteThe panels are - bloodleter glaze, carrobourg crimson, rhino hide sponged liberally on, light sponge of leadbelcher, nuln oil wash, mephiston red dry brush in the centre, ironbreaker lightly sponged and then a thin nuln oil wash, ocassionally I'll top up the mephiston if its too dark afterwards
Bloody hell Rob, that's more paint than I put on most of my armies!
DeleteYou have got a lot more armies than me!
DeleteNicely done, it is looking beastly.
ReplyDeleteCheers Rory :)
DeleteAwwwww yeah. That's the stuff! Love your paint scheme on these SA, it's just brutal looking. Keep up the great work, man!
ReplyDeleteThe Stormblade is my favourite of the tanks, but it doesn't fit in my light box!
DeleteVery pretty bud
ReplyDeleteCheers Russ :)
DeleteYou hear that Rob!!!!! Might help you pay for your Forgeworld habit!
ReplyDeleteIf only! I'd have to generate some serious cash mind you...
