So I have finished the second half of my daemon commission! These were really pleasant to paint but at the same time they ended up taking ages to finish off due to all the small details on them with each bit getting 2-4 layers on them! But I'm really pleased with how they've turned out considering they are the kind of model I have traditionally steered away from. Thoughts are most welcome!
If anyone has any suggestions which don't sound too big headed I would be greatly appreciative of help! Don't feel the need to massage my ego either I just want to sell myself accurately!
Peace out,
Rob
Love 'em, they look great! Nice touch on the feather colouring now and nice flames on the hand. Very wacky Tzeetch goodness.
ReplyDeleteHow about Commission Table Top Standard or Decent Table Top Standard or Better Than Average Table Ready Standard? Or sod it, if this is for business then Professionally Painted is an accurate description, it is a term that is widely abused on eBay, these do actually warrant that description!
Thanks man, it was good to have someone to pop off for extra bits, in general I think it improves my painting to have feedback as well as obviously fitting to the needs of a client :)
DeleteWell done on completing your first commission, I am sure the owner will be delighted.
ReplyDeleteThanks mate :)
DeleteThose are looking great, dude, and they'll definitely stand out on the table.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, if you're getting paid for it, it's pro painting by definition. Just be sure to include some sort of disclaimer that you don't go above Tabletop Plus quality, and some examples of your work, so people know what to expect.
Yeah I think Average+ is probably the fairest way to describe my painting. But I am putting together pictures of select bits from my armies to give people an idea :)
