    1. Finally got round to it last night - ouch! That would be a good argument for not liking that particular mission I think given its ability to bite you in the ass, but you can certainly say the same about maelstrom mission cards and any kind of dice roll.

      You need to get the firemen into a proper combat mate - that's two batreps I've watched now where they've acted as speedbumps! Kill something! ;)

    2. Me and Winters happen to really enjoy that mission, it forges a great narrative and neither of us are too fussed about the win :)

      I am thinking of getting a stormlord later this year as an assault baneblade :P

  4. Just watched it, lovely armies, the Solar Aux look great, but Winters sucks at throwing sixes until he doesn't want or need them, war of lies is a b*tch.

  5. great game, would love to see more pictures of your solar auxilia army, would you mind sharing what paints used to achive these great looking miniatures? looking to make something similar myself, the green plasma looks so clean!

    1. Thanks fresh! The colours are a little convoluted but I'm gearing up to do a showcase of the army and I plan on going over how I got each colour at the same time :)

      I will be buying some more models for these in the future and I'm thinking of doing a video tutorial on them at that point :)
