Vindicare Assassin WIP

Hi All,

Today is just a quick look at some WIP work I have been doing on a Vindicare Assassin for a client. Still loads to do and soften all the highlights on the body suit but good progress yesterday evening!

These first photos are just after basecoats have been applied but no wash:

And then washes and highlights up to this stage thus far:

Peace out,

Rob

  2. Looking great, dude! Are you going to be doing the Base as well, or is this another where the client is basing it to match their force?

    1. No I have a pretty good idea of how they need to be based so this guy and the three to follow will all be done by me in entirety :)

  3. I'm a huge fan of the various Vindicares down the years. The cold efficiency always spoke to me. This rendition captures that feeling brilliantly. Well done mate.

    1. Can't wait to see them employed in bat reps! Especially with Imperial Agents around the corner.

    1. Yeah, it was at the "wow this looks like shit stage" but I like to show how much you can transform a model and blend colours by applying the right wash.

A gentle layer of guilliman blue completed that in the final job.

  6. Looking good Rob, the wash really made a difference on his bodyglove. I like the red contrast, makes him look even more menacing.

    1. Cheers Joe :) I was given a direction of traditional with these miniatures and I have to confess the scheme is mostly ripped from GW!
