So as well as painting the Yncarne, I've been beavering away at various different parts of the Night Lords that I have to get done. I have been somewhat limited by running out of leadbelcher undercoat and also terrible windy wet weather which limits my ability to spray (I am very much banned from spraying inside the house!).
But in amongst all those problems I have been working on this chap. The client is happy with how he is coming along, and I'm following his directions for certain style aspects a best I can. The head wings need finishing and the power pack is coming along as well.
I'm particularly pleased with the metal of the power fist fingers. I think its ended up with nice depth to it that I sometimes struggle to develop on metal.
The Forgefiend is nearly complete and the Daemon Prince will pop up soon as the base layers are pretty much done on most of it. Then once my new leadbelcher spray arrives I will be cracking on with the Land Raider and Helbrute that make up the rest of this commission :)
Peace out,
Rob
Nice, I do love that model, it was what inspired my abortive dalliance with the 8th Legion a few years back
ReplyDeleteI don't remember that! You would do such good Night Lords Nick! Aw hell yes, buy traitors hate ;)
DeleteOh it was a long time before the big existed, not sure I even have any pics still floating around, though I do remember I called him Maugios.
DeleteWow that is quite a wicked looking model. Nice work on him so far Rob!
