After getting some progress on my bike mounted librarian the other night I decided to have a go at quickly getting some other lost projects on the go again. These lost projects are often models I like aesthetically but will be unlikely to use all that often. Seraphicus is one of those models, I bought him because I think he looks absolutely bad ass! But I like the idea of a company master as a character a bit more, so I will probably only use him if I field 2 demi-companies so that he can lead the other one.
Anyway he made it on to my work bench last night and got to this stage by bed time:
I decided to make him stand out by painting him with quite a cold pallet with just the Dark red to really lift it. He looks a bit black templary but I don't mind that at all.
Thoughts?
Peace out,
Rob
That really is a sweet Model. I somehow ended up with three of them, so one is a DA Chaplain, one got converted into a Word Bearers Dark Apostle, and the third is still on the sprue until I get inspired.
ReplyDeleteThree! It took me ages to get one at a reasonable price on ebay but definitely worth it, a very ominous and imposing model.
DeleteI would love to see your Dark Apostle conversion. You need to get a big old retrospective of your armies photographed up dude!
I'm in the process of doing some serious cleanup and re-org around the apartment, and hopefully I'll come out of it with a setup that makes taking decent pics easier.
DeleteBy the sounds of it you need to do a work space photo! It sounds like you have a whole mountain of stuff dude!
