With a house move coming next weekend obliging me to put all of my stuff in to boxes at some point, I have been steaming ahead with my Mechanicum army trying to get as much done as I can so that I have plenty of time to finish them off for the tournament they will be going to at the beginning of April. The list is due in a week today so I wanted to be confident that I would have them all done to a pre-weathered and based stage for the tournament. I feel pretty confident they will be done in time now after a good spurt of work today.
The list has 3 Castellax and here are the finished castellax and 2 that just need hazard stripes to be at the same level:
And here is the other converted Darkfire cannon Castellax which has had all the yellow brought up to snuff but the metal and black etc still needs doing - compared to the one nearly done:
The Thallax are as done as last time you saw them for the main torso, still just deciding if they will get hazard stripes or not. But I have been working on their weapons and they are coming along nicely:
And finally I now have 2 Thanatars! The back left one is the brand new one from Forgeworld hence why its all smooth. The front right one was an Ebay rescue and has rough patches from the underlying paint job. But it should look fine once all yellow!
More of the same tomorrow as I hope to have all the Castellax and Thallax completed (sans bases) and also hope to have a WIP picture of the Archmagos Dominus up for you to see!
